In need of Inspiration

I really dislike when your one 'great' idea doesn't come to fruitation!  I love the most recent digital image from Faith over at Delightful Inspiration.

I had it in my mind that "Daffodils" would stand alone on my card and then got fidgeting with it and then when back to keepin' it simple.  My husband asked where my 'beads' were, so almost went back to my table to add to it again, BUT CAS it stayed!

I hope you like it as is, but would love your suggestions!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Huggz,
April

oops, didn't give you any deets....all scraps and colored with my Bic Mark Its....make sure you enlarge the picture, IMHO the daffodils looks great! ;-)

You're right, the daffodils are wonderful! I think maybe if you had embossed the pink background you might be happier, but I think its great as is.

Love how you curled the right side of the paper. Very pretty just the way it is!

Do I see snow in the background?!! Gahhhhhhh!
Oh wait, I'm here for your card! April, this is just lovely .... I don't want to sound "cliche" but I like the lovliness and elegance it has just as is :) I would not have done anything different or change a thing - I like it just way it is! The image stands out in it's finery - the purple really makes this immie POP! ** THumbs up! **

I think your idea came out just beautifully, April! The image is so lovely, and I can see why you'd want it to stand out. I love the way you did the background paper -- it sort of curls a bit towards the image, drawing more attention to it. So lovely! Good for you for sticking to your plan. :-)

I think it is fine. This is what I struggle with when trying to make CAS, I always feel it needs more, but I love the flower image standing alone, it is beautiful.
