the Darling Girls are HOT!

Well, not Noon EST, but close.....lol

Paola sent a sweet kit (which I didn't do justice to) and challenges us to make a Summer fun card!  It is hot out, after all!

*Deets:
*Stamped image : 'Poolside Chicken' by Penny Black
*Designer Papers: DWCV + K & Company
*strip of bazzill card stock -dry embossed with 'Divine Swirls' CB folder-
*Vellum Quotes by : DWCV (playing on opposites *hot/cool*)
*SIzzix cut out leaves
*Orange satin flower from Michael
*Faux button
*Orange/Yellow thread
*Brocade blue 5/8" grosgrain ribbon from SU!
*Green velvety zigzag ribbon from Michaels
*Red zig zag c/s border
*Dolphin and Star fish stickers (thanks to Barb!) :o)

Paola also asked that we share a favorite summer memory - what's better than growing up on a lake....lol ( I told you that story before, so am not going to bore you again)....
And, she asked that we share a favorite drink recipe with y'all!
This is for family friendly Strawberry Smoothies:
2c crushed ice
2c frozen strawberries
1 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder
3 oz strawberry sugar free drink mix
12 oz water
Pulse it up in your blender and pour into tall glasses, using thick straws, slurp to your heart's content!!
Thanks for joining me today!!!

Huggz,
April

April, your card is soooooo cute!!! I think Carol's right... you should schedule an appointment with the eye doctor ASAP! I love the way you trimmed the embossed paper and then placed it behind the image. Such fun!
