OWH Fundraiser

I was asked if I would make up some cards for the current OWH fundraiser.
What?
You don't know what OWH is????

Now, how is that possible??

OWH is Operation Write Home

So, Deedee Anderson and Kaitlyn drew up some cutie patootie digis for this worthy cause.

The first card is from Kaitlyn; the rest are from Deedee!!

All, yep ALL, proceeds will go to OWH to offset their many costs.

Hope you will think about stopping by and picking up two or three!!

And, in case you don't have a clue, here is some great info and everything you need to know about where to pick up these great digis :
*  Operation Write Home is a not-for-profit organization that collects and sends handmade greeting cards to American soldiers for their use in keeping touch with their families back home. They need to raise $13,000 to cover holiday shipping costs.

* Among other fundraisers going on at the same time, K 'n K Designs will be selling 7 new digi sets designed exclusively for this cause. These include 4 sets by Katlyn and 3 sets by me. Each "set" includes an image and some greetings, in both Jpeg an PNG file formats, all in a zip file.

* These sets are available for just $2 each, or in various value bundles (e.g. get them all for just $10!), with all proceeds (minus Paypal fees) donated to Operation Write Home.

* The sets can be purchased at the K 'n K blog (NOT their store) from October 17th thru noon November 1st.
The blog is here: http://knkdesignsblog.blogspot.com/  All purchases will be emailed out within 24 hours of payment clearance.

* Those who don't craft but would still like to aid the cause can donate directly to OWH. Info on how to do that is at this page: http://operationwritehome.org/donate.html

Crafting When We Can Challenge

The design team thought it would be good to get ahead on our crafting and celebrate Christmas this fortnight.  Tickled Pink Stamps sponsored us and this darling immie can be found in their shop!

Deets:
Lil Christmas Lad Frankie colored with my Bic's and his snowman has a bit of liquid glass on it to make it rounded.  Sentiment is computer generated and the papers were all out of my stash.

Thanks for stopping by - I hope you have time to craft with us this fortnight - we'd love to see your creations!  So, head on over to the Crafting When We Can Challenges blog to link up!

Let's DUEL....

WOW is all I can say.
Darlene is our hostess this month and really pampered us.  I couldn't even use everything...and I made 5 projects with the kit.

I really hope that I did justice to what Darlene sent!
She also asked that we post a favorite Fall recipe....enlarge the first photo for mine!!  It is a recipe for my Grandmother's fried cakes....I make them once a year!
Also included were balsa wood ovals - I made a pumpkin with them - colored with my Bic's.  {I must admit that the second card is my favorite!}

Here are all the deets:

DP's: The Paper Studio, DCWV
Embellies:  The Paper Studio, K&Company, and nameless ribbon

Make sure to check out the rest of the Duelers and their posts...they LOVE luv as much as I do!!

Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge

I haven't been working on many challenges - guess I need to do fewer swaps....lol.... But, I saw this one on Tuesday while blurfing and decided to go for it!  Melissa always has great sketches and I need to take the time to use more of them!!

Sorry that my picture is so washed out!  But, my camera was dying and I didn't want to push my luck with taking more pictures...lol
Deets: the dp is from one sheet of double sided and the solid card stock was from my never ending stash.  The image is from Sassy Studio Designs.

Thanks for stopping by!

It feels like fall!

Not a great picture, but wanted to share a card I made for a swap over on SCS.  This was for SOTC and was sent to our fabby hostess, Paola.

Knowing the mail between my house and hers, she will get it just about Halloween, right when it is due!

The paper is old SU! and the stamps are from CTMH.

Thanks for stopping in today~
