A Fall Kick-Off for the Duelers!

A fall kick-off theme.....not specifically football, but anything that would start the fall season.

Terry chose to put together a school themed kit for us to work with!

The kit included:

I made my card using a Joy Fold! Hadn't done one in a while and it seemed like a great way to use all the fun papers! I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers, punched a hole and put the ribbon through, keeping the knot in front, added the twine bow and set it all off with the candi dots!

Happy (Early) Birthday Barb

Just a quick post.....mostly to show Miss Gael what I created for Barb's swap......

Crafters of Faith

I must change my moniker.....instead of "Speedy", I am reinventing myself as "The Procraftinator" once again!

I have known the them for this month's challenge, thought about my project, and planned it out...in my head! LOL

We were to use blue and water this month.

Aha! Wouldn't a D. Morgan stamp work great?? ...yeppers! I used From Far Away and colored in with Spectrum Noir Markers and chalks. To complete my project (I like to think of it as bathroom art), I painted two pieces of cardboard white using a foam brush. I kept brush strokes on it, then added some blue chalk and a hint of yellow to the frame which I cut out of the cardboard. I added three rolled flowers with green leaves I cut out of some ribbon.

Cute and Cuddly

The Calendar Girls (check my sidebar for the links) are at it again!

Theme this month was supplied by Linda, the wonderful Linda!! She is wanting to check out all things cute and cuddly!

I went with Mr. Riley the Moose, who although I don't think would be cuddly IRL, is amazingly cute!! Our own CG, Kelly, is on the DT for Riley and Company; and I decided to play along with their current challenge (a summer activity and use yellow). I also went for a CAS approach, using the current sketch, #38, from CAS(E) this Sketch.
