Am I a "Master Crafter"?

Well, only in my eyes....lol

Turns out that I am usually in my own niche and have a hard time thinking out of the box.....hmmm, no pun intended, truly.

A while ago, I signed up for a bit of a challenge. You know the type.....you are sent something and you see what you can do with it....lol. (Great time for my mojo to take vacation!)

You can see what was sent (and the great prizes to win) here!

As you can see, I created a little note box and matching cards. It is great that this DCWV stack is single sided to make it easy to make little notecards! I also put a card stock ring around the cloth bag and filed it with a wee snack! This will actually be a Christmas present for a young neighbor. I will put fresh chocolates in it before then; and probably add a funky pen or two for her!

I will admit to not using the stamp on my project. The one I received said memories and it didn't fit with the way my project was going. I used a set from Close To My Heart called Rock On. Ink was Memento and Versamark (for heart with wings and guitar, both of which were heat embossed). I also used a black sparkly gel pen to draw my flourish before adhering my gems! I did use the cool Scissor Mouse to cut my black card stock base and it worked really well (some more practice should help the learning curve)!

I hope you enjoy this project; and I may not be THE Master Crafter, but I sure had a lot of fun going for it!!

Thanks for stopping by!

April

I love love love the box that you made! Do you have the directions for it?

Blogger isn't letting me edit this post, so I will add that the original directions for the box came from SCS ~ Maria's Treat Box.
