Steampunk with Sassy Studio Designs

Not one to miss a challenge, I had to give this a try.  It is a progressive challenge from Sassy Studio Designs, and I love a good challenge....lol

Of course, I had to look at tons of blogs/cards/posts to get a feel of what steampunk is....lol...I still don't "get" it.  But, my friend Carol gave this a try, so I figured why not??

Skip ahead....idea is formulated this afternoon, image is printed, papers decided on, ready, set, craft!  So, I am all set. Then, my son comes in...MOM!! I just fell off my bike... Yep, trip to afterhours and a fiberglass slint later...here is a toned down version of the card in my head!

I am not sure I really nailed this challenge, but I diamond plate embossed some silver paper, and used a cool black and silver swirl paper for a bit of an accent....silver brads and silver washers.  All papers were scraps...and just to tell you the booboo I made....I attached the image backwards to the black cs...lol

I think I will send this to a girlfriend who is single again....see if she can't find a smile and wash that man away...lol

Thanks for stopping in!
Huggz,
April
