Gone Fishin'

Here's a card which I was commissioned to make.   It features an image by Mo Manning - you know, from Mo's Digital Pencil....

The papers and card stock were all from my stash and I stole the design from my dear friend Carol...

I must confess, the person who I sold this card too was asking for a male thinking of you type card.  The male is going thru chemo and she wanted a few nice cards to send him.  I always try to get a feel of the recipient and was told that he enjoys fishing....  It nearly made the woman cry....so very glad she liked it!

Thanks for stopping by~
Huggz,
April

Oh April ....... I just got home a few hours ago and saw this on my sidebar and am so glad that I stopped in to see it, even with blurry eyes! W hat a heartfelt post, so sweetly created and with a gentle message for someone going through a difficult time in life. I know it will be treasured - beautifully colored! Big hugs - how is baseball coming along?! x0x0

April, you did an outstanding job on this card. The fold, layout and colors are just perfect. I especially like the circle with a wee bit of the image in it - great idea. You surely made his day.

This is such a terrific masculine card, April. I like how there are little "suprises" as you unfold it, and you did a stellar job coloring the images! So thoughtful of you to keep the recipient in mind as you made it. I am sure these will be much-appreciated.
