Happy Mother's Day

This isn't an easy post today.  My own mother has been gone for two years now; and this is one of the "harder" holidays to make a card for.

But, I do have a few friends that have taken her place.  And for them, I have created this card.  I hope that all mother's have a great day tomorrow!  Cherish the moments that you have with your loved ones!

This card is apropos for the Crafty Ho's Challenge, Tuesday Morning Sketches #44, and Designed2Delights first May challenge.

The image was colored with Copics, the die cut flowers were a gift from my SCS friend Sheena, and the background paper is from CTMH, embossed with my first folder (woo hoo).  The sentiment is a plain mother (and it doesn't follow Melissa's sketch exactly, but I think you get the idea).

Thanks for looking and hope to see you Monday ~ hopefully, my darling son will have a great Mother's Day planned for me!!

I'm sorry about the loss of your mother. I couldn't imagine my life without my mom, so I know this must be very hard for you. Thank God He's blessed us with friends. Your card is lovely and your friends are blessed to have you. Thanks for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Well, a couple of things.....first, I am sorry about your mom. I hope that your son will make your day much better. Second, congratulations on your first embossing folder! Third, I love that image and how you colored it. Have a great weekend!

What gorgeous shades of purple! And that embossed panel makes the card all by its little lonesome - This is beautiful! Thanks so much for working the corner with The Crafty Hos! :D MWAH!
