It's time...

for another
Are you ready to join us?

Our theme this week was Easter.  I adore this image by Deedee - I think it conveys the perfect mix of awe for our Creator.  It is, afterall, the dawning of a new day; when the flowers and butterflies emerge after the long winter months just as Jesus was rose again to bring us a new life.

I colored up the egg with my Bic's for the most part and added just a hint of color to the egg itself.  I used a Fiskar punch at the edges of my scrap CS and added just a hint of ribbon and two little buttons.  Who does celebrate Easter with a little chocolate bunny and a colored egg or two?

Thanks for stopping in today and I hope you take the time to stop by Deedee's.  Her immies are so clean and versatile....and supah afordable!  We love you to link up to our challenge if you have a chance, use a Deedee's Digi and get her DollarDigi in your email....what isn't to like about that??

Thanks for stopping in~
Huggz,
April

Beautiful card, April! You incorporated all of the wonderful aspects of Easter here, between the egg with its symbolism, the pretty Spring colors, and even your darling bunny and egg buttons. Love you how punched the bottom piece and threaded the ribbon through, too -- great look! So sweet! :-)

Beautiful card! I love the whole layout.
AND what you said in your post is BEAUTIFUL too! "I think it conveys the perfect mix of awe for our Creator. It is, afterall, the dawning of a new day; when the flowers and butterflies emerge after the long winter months just as Jesus was rose again to bring us a new life."
Lovely, April!!

Okay, I have to admit that the very first thing I thought of when I saw your card is that I wanted to eat that little chocolate bunny!

Okay, back to the card......it is so pretty and Easter like. I like how you punched the edge of the purple panel.

Great job!
