I am not sure why Kelly chose FABRIC for out February Calendar Girl Challenge, but she did. So here I am to show you a card I made. She said it could be anything.....lol. I could barely wrangle a card out of this challenge, so didn't dare try anything else.
So, I did what any non-fabric CG would do....cheated. Yes friends, you heard it straight from my mouth....lol
The fabric is the stick on kind....lol. (TYVM Judy for a super prezzie a while back)
I also made the flower out of two ribbons and a stick pin..... I did try getting the ribbon to even be leaves....lol
I don't expect anyone to ever say I did well at this challenge, but.....I did try (and that must be worth a little something!).
Thanks for stopping,
April
Oh my dear, why did I chose fabric ... let me count the ways ... (in my best Elizabeth B. Browning voice!)
ReplyDeleteBecause I KNEW you'd make this beauty! You are so crafty and creative, you embrace each challenge (yeah, maybe with some foot stompin, lol!) and always come out on top with a GORGEOUS creation!
This card has such elegance in it's simplicity - just a stunner!
Kudos to you for giving this a try and succeeding so well :)
Hugs, my Calendar Girl friend! ♥
What a cute card April--love the flower too. It was a challenge this month, for sure. But--your card is perfect!
ReplyDeleteOkay, you KNOW I could have used a stick on fabric something if I had access to one! LOL
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I really like how the fabric looks with the paper. The sentiment is good too. I think you did a fine job Ms Stick'em! ;)
Oh April, I think you did a great job. I love the black ribbon and the wonderful stick pin tucked inside it...great job my friend. I think it is beautiful.....♥
ReplyDeleteHehehe...FABric and you chose FABulous for the sentiment. I get it, great pun!
ReplyDeleteAlso love the colors and that super ribbon flower - so pretty!
Oh my goodness! This card is amazing! Love the flower and pin embellishment and what a beautiful color combination.
ReplyDeleteOK, so I think that the ribbon flowers qualify as fabric and you did a wonderful job on the challenge!! Great job April ☺
